Planting and design
We plant trees, shrubs, perennials and seasonal color, and can lay out a new bed or rework an old one. We plant for the spot: sun, soil and how much upkeep you want.

- Seasonal flowers for entrances and signs
Mulch and bed maintenance
Fresh mulch once or twice a year keeps weeds down and holds moisture. We cut a clean edge first so it stays where it belongs.

Questions
When should mulch go down?
Spring is most common, after cleanup and before summer weeds. A light top-up in fall works too.
How deep should mulch be?
About 2 to 3 inches. Deeper than that can smother roots, and it should never be piled against tree trunks.
Can you plant in fall?
Yes. Fall is a good time for trees and shrubs in Bucks County because roots keep growing in cool soil.
